Call for Proposals: CRSF 2025

The Office of DRIL is pleased to announce a Call for Proposals for the CRSF 2025 funding. The call seeks to support subject-specific research, which plays a crucial role in enhancing both knowledge and practice in specific academic disciplines. Such research not only refines subject knowledge and skills but is also pivotal in fostering innovative teaching, learning, and assessment (TLA) practices.

Objectives of CRSF 2025

The aim of the funding is to:

  1. Promote Subject-Specific Research: Encourage in-depth, focused research that deepens understanding and expertise in individual subjects.
  2. Strengthen Subject Knowledge and Skills: Enhance educators’ subject-specific proficiency and teaching practices.
  3. Enhance Subject-Specific TLA Practices: Support the development of innovative teaching, learning, and assessment strategies tailored to specific subjects.
  4. Build Digital and Inclusive Skills: Foster the integration of digital tools and inclusive techniques to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

Themes for Proposals

Proposals may address any of the following themes:

  1. Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (TLA): Innovative approaches to TLA in specific subjects.
  2. Learning Environment: Designing and implementing effective, inclusive, and engaging learning environments.
  3. Classroom Inclusion: Strategies to foster inclusivity in the classroom, ensuring all students have equal opportunities for success.
  4. Digital-Based Teaching: The integration of digital tools and technologies to enhance subject-specific teaching practices.
  5. Specific Subject Topics: Research focused on particular topics within a subject area that have potential for significant impact.
  6. Status of Specific Subject: Research focused on the current status and challenges of specific subject (teacher-std perspectives).

Eligibility

All proposals that meet the above objectives and align with the outlined themes will be considered for funding.

Submission Deadlines

  • Deadline for Proposal Submission: 31st August 2025
  • Deadline for Approval: 30th September 2025

We encourage all eligible faculty members to submit their research proposals and look forward to your valuable contributions towards advancing subject-specific research and practices.
