Reporting Dates for Spring Semester 2026
This is to inform all the students selected for 2026 admission into MEd, PgDE and PgDCCP Programme at Samtse College of Education to report to the College on 16th February 2026. MEd II, PgDE II, PgDCCP II, BEd II and I students will report to the College on 22nd February 2026.
Registration and Orientation programmes for the new students are scheduled from 17th – 20th February 2026. Please note the following points:
- Registration Form (download here) and Undertaking Form (download here) must be filled prior to your coming to the College.
- The UNDERTAKING FORM must be signed by your parents or guardians and produced at the time of registration to complete the admission procedures.
- For Registration, please bring two PASSPORT size photographs and two LEGAL STAMPS.
- Bring duplicate/photocopied version of your class TEN and TWELVE academic TRANSCRIPTS. Original documents must be brought for verification during admission.
- A copy of your School Leaving Certificate and Citizenship Identity Card should also be submitted.
- A sum of Nu.5000/- must be deposited at the time of registration as caution money which is refundable at the time of graduation, upon the submission of No Dues Certificate.
- Registration Fee of Nu.500/- must be deposited at the time of registration.
- A sum of Nu.300/- for student card must be deposited during the registration.
- A sum of Nu. 200/- for a good sickle, which the college will facilitate.
- A sum of Nu. 200/- for the prayer book.
Following things are required for personal use:
- Gho/Kira (as you require).
- Rachu/Kabney.
- Bucket and jug (1 each).
- Mattress, quilt/blanket, pillow, bed sheets, etc. (Carry light clothing to suit the Hot and Humid weather conditions).
- Window curtains.
- Plate, cup and spoon.
- Umbrella.
- Mosquito net.
- Personal laptops although students will have access to College Computer Labs.
