On the evening of November 12th, the College dining hall witnessed a spectacular Diwali celebration. Organized by the Diwali Committee, the festivities commenced with a soulful Aarti and Bhajan (devotional songs) session.

At 6:30 pm, the President, along with lecturers, staff, and students, gathered for the much-anticipated evening program. The air was filled with the aroma of tea and sel-rotis, enhancing the festive ambiance. Faculty, staff, and students were served tea, sel-rotis, and chickpea curry.  ‘Bhailoni’ echoed through the air, accompanied by the Aashish (blessings), filling the surroundings with celebratory spirit. The festivities continued with lively dance performances, showcasing students adorned in vibrant and colorful attire, further enhancing the joyous atmosphere.

The celebration concluded with a vegetarian dinner being served to the students.

The organizers dedicated almost two weeks to meticulous preparations for the Festival of Lights. Diwali, with its profound symbolism of the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance, served as a meaningful backdrop to the festivities.
