Reporting Dates for Autumn Semester 2025
This is to inform all the students selected for 2025 admission into BEd Secondary Programme at Samtse College of Education to report to the College on 28 th July 2025. Old students (MEd, BEd III and BEd II) will report to the College on 2 nd August 2025 for the Autumn Semester.
Registration and Orientation Programme for New Students is from 29 th July – 1 st August 2025.
New students are kindly advised to take note of the following important points for the registration and orientation programme:
- Registration Form and Undertaking Form
a. Please download and complete the Registration Form (download here) and the Undertaking Form (download here) prior to your coming to the College.
b. The Undertaking Form must be signed by your parents or guardians and submitted during registration to complete the admission process. - Documents Required for Registration
a. Two recent passport-size photographs
b. Two legal stamps
c. Photocopies of your Class X and XII academic transcripts (Original transcripts must be produced for verification during registration)
d. A copy each of your School Leaving Certificate and Citizenship Identity Card - Fees Payable at the Time of Registration
a. Caution Money: Nu. 3,000/- (refundable upon graduation after obtaining a No Dues Certificate)
b. Registration Fee: Nu. 500/-
c. Student ID Card Fee: Nu. 200/-
d. Sickle Fee: Nu. 200/- (the college will arrange for a good quality sickle)
e. Prayer Book Fee: Nu. 200/-
Note: Students selected on Self-Finance must deposit the security amount of Nu. 10000/- (Ngultrum Ten Thousand only) in the College BoB account number 101418377 latest by 9 th July 2025. This amount will be refunded at the completion of your programme. However, if candidates leave the College before the completion of the programme, the security deposit will be forfeited for blocking the seat at the College.
The following things are required for personal use:
- Gho/Kira (as you require)
- Rachu/Kabney
- Bucket and jug (1 each)
- Mattress, quilt/blanket, pillow, bed sheets, etc. (Carry light clothing to suit the Hot and Humid weather conditions)
- Window curtains
- Plate, cup and spoon
- Umbrella
- Mosquito net
- Personal laptops although students will have access to College Computer Labs.
