Samtse College of Education recently concluded a five-day religious discourse led by His Eminence Tsugla Loben Karma Rangdol. The event, which started on March 13th, was attended by staff and students of the College.

The program aimed to bring spiritual enlightenment to all attendees. The eight-hour daily sessions were designed to contribute to the cerebral, spiritual, emotional, physical, and social development of all members. His Eminence Tsugla Loben emphasized the importance of taming one’s mind for clarity and transcendence. Many participants spoke positively about the event, with some commenting that the programme brought ‘immense peace and tranquillity’ in their academic session.

Sonam Gyeltshen, lecturer of SCE and the coordinator of the event, stated that annual conduct of religious discourse was disrupted in the past two years due to COVID-19, and that this year’s event was a much-needed opportunity for spiritual development and growth.
