The College Reopens for Autumn Semester
Today on 24th August 2020, the College re-opened for the Autumn Semester with the lighting of butter lamps and reciting the precious Zhabten of His Majesty the King in the College Rigsum Goenpo (རིགས་གསུམ་མགོན་པོ།) Hall followed by a short prayer session. Before this spiritual programme, the College President presented his vision and provided suggestions in academic, research, student affairs and administrative services for inclusion in everybody’s work plans. He also expressed the uncertainty of COIVD-19 situation and the window of opportunities ahead in strengthening online teaching, learning and assessment. He concluded his introductory briefing highlighting the need of doing some soul searching in improving teaching, learning and assessment.
