Philosophy of teaching and learning:

He believes and regards individual strength and basic goodness in every human being.  He believes in substance of education to promote peace and wellbeing for all through adequate social awareness, human values and responsibilities. He upholds the primacy of pragmatic approach of learning and education steered by right awareness for life.

Professional experience:

He currently teaches professional modules (Teaching skills, Teaching Strategies and Bhutanese Education system) for B.Ed course and Social Work modules for BA in Social Work course. Prior to joining Royal University of Bhutan, he served as a school teacher under the Ministry of Education, Bhutan.

Current responsibilities:

Class Advisor, Member of Student Wellbeing Committee, Member of BA in Social Work Program, Club Advisor of Arts and Craft Club.

Research interest:

Family issues and problem (Families with special needs, single parent, divorce, power dynamics and decision making, child and elderly care), child wellbeing and support systems.
