PHILOSOPHY OF WORK:
As a lab assistant, I am dedicated to fostering an environment that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and continuous learning. My role is not just to support the technical and logistical needs of the laboratory but also to contribute meaningfully to the overall success of experiments, and educational activities. I recognize that the laboratory is a collaborative space where teamwork is essential and aim to foster a respectful and inclusive environment where all learners feel supported and valued. By actively communicating and working alongside others, I ensure that laboratory operates smoothly and efficiently. I also believe that safety is the cornerstone of any laboratory operation committing to maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace while ensuring that all equipment and procedures adhere to established safety guidelines and protocols. Not only that, I am committed to continuous improvement in my skills and knowledge. By staying informed about new techniques, tools, and best practices, I aim to contribute to the laboratory’s advancement while enhancing my professional development. In overall, every task I undertake, from preparing materials to troubleshooting equipment, I am guided by a sense of responsibility, integrity, and a passion for science. My ultimate goal is to ensure the laboratory functions as a dynamic, safe, and inspiring space for exploration and discovery.

PROFESSIONAL/WORK EXPERIENCE
I have joined my first service as a Laboratory assistant at Samtse College of Education under Royal University of Bhutan on 1st August, 2012.Following are the professional experiences I have gained upon serving as a Laboratory Assistant since 2012 till Date:
- Lab Preparation and Setup: Prepared and organized physics lab equipment and materials, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, wave generators, and experimental setups for mechanics, optics, and electromagnetism demonstrations etc…
- Experiment Facilitation: Assisted students and lecturers in conducting experiments by guiding students through experimental procedures and practical application also ensure all the required materials are there.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintained and calibrated laboratory instruments to ensure precise measurements and reliable results. Conducted routine inspections and performed basic repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforced safety protocols, including proper use of electrical equipment and handling of potentially hazardous materials.
- Inventory and Resource Management: Managed lab inventory by tracking and restocking essential supplies, ensuring availability for all scheduled experiments.
