Philosophy of Teaching and Learning

Fostering positive relationships with students is the quintessential aspect of teaching learning processes. Spending some time to get to know students personally, before even beginning to teach, goes a long way in cultivating a positive connection and creating an environment conducive to learning and meeting students’ developmental, emotional and academic needs. Therefore, a positive relationship, based on a degree of trust and respect, between a teacher and students is the cornerstone for learning and social maturation process. For Karma, a positive relationship with students is more important that what he teaches.
