Ms. Kezang Choden, Asst. Professor

Philosophy of teaching and learning:

My experience as a teacher for last 24 years as made me believe in some of these things I am writing here.  I believe all learning happens through experience and it must be felt and expressed. I believe every learner is unique and has their own set of needs and abilities and that they should be encouraged to become responsible for their own learning and also be responsible citizens. The teachers’ major role is to facilitate learning by creating opportunities that will take care of individuality and improve the chance of learners’ success.

I believe teaching learning must also prepare learners for citizenship.  Thus all school curriculum must be designed to prepare learners to become useful citizen and contribute to the development of nation.
