Mr. Bhupen Gurung, Lecturer

Philosophy of teaching and learning:

I believe teaching and learning must be interdisciplinary and firmly grounded on the local, national and global opportunities and challenges. The curriculum framework and assessment modality must provide space, to enable teachers to exercise quality pedagogical approaches to enhance students learning outcomes.  My role as the teacher will be to help each student in developing quality perspective on opportunities and challenges evident at local, national and global context, through open mind, positive attitude and strong character. Teaching is a process of learning from our students, colleagues and the community through sustained interaction and engagement. I strongly believe that in order to help the students develop holistically; adequate learning spaces (both physical and mental) must be provided to the students to generate new knowledge, skill and value set to approach the opportunities and challenges at local, national and global level.
