Self-Finance for Master of Arts in Contemplative Counselling (MACC) for July 2026 Intake
Samtse College of Education invites applications from eligible candidates for self-financed admission into 18 months fulltime Master of Arts in Contemplative Counselling (MACC) programme in July 2026.
Applicants must:
- Hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Contemplative Counselling and Psychology (PgDCCP), Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling (PgDGC), Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling/Psychology/ Social work, or an equivalent Pg Diploma qualification recognised by the Bhutan Qualifications and Professional Certification Authority (BQPCA).
- Have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 60%, including at least 60% in the subject of specialization.
- Provide assurance of the ability to meet the tuition fee obligations of the programme.
Eligible candidates are required to submit copies of their academic transcripts and relevant qualification certificates to the Programme Coordinator via email at (ddoma.sce@rub.edu.bt) with a copy to the Dean of Academic Affairs (daa.sce@rub.edu.bt ) on or latest by 30th June 2026.
Candidates will be merit ranked and selected based on the following criteria:
- Academic performance:30%
- Written test: 30%
- Viva voce: 40%
The dates for the Written Test and Viva-voce for the shortlisted candidates will be announced by the College at a later date.
