Admission for ECCD Centre

Samtse College of Education informs the residents of Samtse Municipality about the admission process for the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Centre at the College.

The ECCD Centre has been established with the support of UNICEF Bhutan and State Mining Corporation Ltd. (SMCL) and aims to provide (w)holistic development opportunities via the provision of meaningful and healthy early childhood experiences that are so critical to harness children’s innate potentials and unleash the best versions of every child. The Centre is committed to providing a psychologically secure, emotionally comforting, physically safe, spiritually uplifting, and cognitively stimulating formative years of growth and development.

Interested parents are kindly requested to apply for admission with immediate effect as admissions shall be given on a first-come-first basis with a condition that the applicant fulfills the eligibility criteria. The Centre will not admit more than 30 children to maintain the quality of services provided.

The following conditions will apply for the admission of children at the Centre:

1. A one-time non-refundable Registration and Admission Confirmation Fee of Nu.1000/- (Ngultrum One Thousand Only);
2. A refundable Security Deposit of Nu.3000/- (Ngultrum Three Thousand Only) at the time of admission, which shall be reimbursed at the end of the year;
3. A monthly fee of Nu.1000/- (Ngultrum One Thousand Only), which is inclusive of all services and materials provided but excludes the cost of meals; and
4. Children will be required to carry their own meals and snacks.
