Admission for Early Childhood Care and Development Center (ECCD)
Samtse College of Education would like to notify the public of Samtse Municipality that the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Centre of the College built and established through the financial support of UNICEF, Bhutan and the State Mining Corporation Limited (SMCL) will be opening for its services by 10th August 2023.
The ECCD Centre has been established with the aim to provide (w)holistic development opportunities of a child via the provision of meaningful and healthy early childhood experiences that are so critical to harness their innate potential and unleashing the best versions of every child. The Centre is committed to providing psychologically secure, emotionally comforting, physically safe, spiritually uplifting, and cognitively stimulating formative years of growth and development.
The Centre will admit NOT MORE than 30 children to maintain the quality and standard of services provided. Therefore, interested parents are kindly requested to apply for admission with immediate effect as admissions shall be given on a first-come-first basis with a condition that the applicant fulfills the eligibility criteria.

The following fees shall be applied to those children selected for admission at the Centre:
- A one-time non-refundable Registration and Admission Confirmation Fee of Nu.1000/- (Ngultrum One Thousand Only);
- A refundable Security Deposit of Nu.3000/- (Ngultrum Three Thousand Only) at the time of admission, which shall be reimbursed at the end of the year;
- A monthly fee of Nu.2000/- (Ngultrum Two Thousand Only), which is inclusive of all services and materials provided but excludes the cost of meals; and
- Children will be required to carry their own meals and snacks for morning and afternoon refreshments.
