Musical video

  • Musical video

The College organised a class-wise competition to create video clips as one of the activities to commemorate the 114th National Day. Besides providing the students with an opportunity to acquire and develop new skills of creating such audio-visuals, the activity aimed at deepening and broadening the students’ knowledge about the history of Bhutanese Monarchy and develop a sense of nationalism, patriotism and loyalty to the selfless leaderships and sacrifices that our Kings have endured for the sovereignty of the country.

The video clips mainly consisting of musical performances released coinciding with the 114th National Day celebration might seem amateurish and unprofessional but the coordinators would like to share that the students mostly have used smartphones for the production of these musical videos in addition to lack of prior experience in engaging in this kind of activity. In spite of all limitations, considering the students have put in a great deal of effort and energy in working on this creation, fuelled with excitement of being part of the 114th ND commemoration, the College Management is releasing the three best musical videos created by the students.

On behalf of the College, the College Management and the coordinators of this programme would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to the Bhutan Mining Ltd. (BML), Samtse for the generous support in sponsoring the cash prizes for this activity. We look forward to such generous support in our future initiatives too.
