On the fifth day of the festival, a special Soelcha Wang was bestowed upon devotees by the esteemed Dorji Lopen at the Samtse High School football ground, where around 2,000 followers gathered to receive blessings and spiritual guidance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the attendees were students, faculty, and staff of the Samtse College of Education, who joined the wider Samtse community in receiving Dorji Lopen\u2019s blessings. Their presence reflected the college\u2019s deep connection with local cultural and spiritual traditions, and many participants expressed gratitude for the rare opportunity to attend such a significant event within their own community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The session began at 9:00 AM, with Dorji Lopen addressing the gathering on the significance of the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Soelcha Wang<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. He explained that the blessing purifies the mind and body, helping practitioners progress on their path toward enlightenment. Emphasising the impermanence of life, a central tenet of Buddhism, he reminded devotees that all phenomena are transient. \u201cOur time in this world is fleeting,\u201d he said, \u201cand it is through blessings like these that we can align ourselves with the Dharma and find solace amidst the chaos of daily life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dorji Lopen further explained that the Soelcha Wang serves as a means to reduce negative karma and purify one\u2019s thoughts and actions. He highlighted that such blessings not only bring immediate spiritual benefit but also foster a longer and more meaningful life. \u201cIn moments of adversity,\u201d he shared, \u201cthe blessings act as a true virtue, guiding us back to the right path and helping us cultivate positive habits.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ceremony concluded around 12:30 PM, leaving devotees with a renewed sense of peace, purpose, and spiritual clarity.
