{"id":13235,"date":"2021-11-13T21:38:56","date_gmt":"2021-11-13T15:38:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sce.edu.bt\/?p=13235"},"modified":"2021-11-13T21:38:56","modified_gmt":"2021-11-13T15:38:56","slug":"the-66th-birth-anniversary-of-his-majesty-drukgyal-zhipa-celebrated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sce.edu.bt\/?p=13235","title":{"rendered":"The 66th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty Drukgyal Zhipa Celebrated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The College joined the nation in commemorating the 66<sup>th<\/sup> Birth Anniversary of His Majesty The Fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuck.<\/p>\n<p>The commemoration began on 10<sup>th<\/sup> November evening with art and quiz competitions on the theme \u201cHis Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo\u201d. In the art competition, team PgDE section B was declared winner followed by PgDE section A. Team\u00a0 Jigme bagged the first position in the quiz competition, the second position was taken by Team Gyalpo and Team Wangchuck came third. All the winners and runners ups were awarded His Majesty\u2019s portraits as prizes.<\/p>\n<p>On 11<sup>th<\/sup> November, the College organized a modest celebration of the Birth Anniversary considering the pandemic risk. Led by the President, all the faculty, staff and students offered various prayers and Moenlams for the continued long life, health and well being of His Majesty The Drukgyal Zhipa.
