In the fiercely contested game on the 29th of September, the B.Ed 4th Year Sci B took the lead with two goals till the last few minutes of the game. However, PgDE players with seasoned talents and high spirits fought well. Mr. Chimi Dorji and Mr. Kunzang Dorji of PgDE did not miss the opportunities and scored the goals to end the 90 minute game in a draw.  As was at the beginning of the match, luck was on the side of B. Ed. They won the game in the penalty kick bringing jubilations to the rest of the class members who kept the hopes and dreams players alive by constantly cheering for them.

Mr. Sonam Dhendup, player of B. Ed Sci B said that it was a tough and challenging match. “There was immense responsibility shouldered upon us to win the trophy and fulfil the dream of our classmates who had the same vision for a long time. We had believed in ourselves and never gave up which result in our triumph. I am immensely overjoyed and proud to win this tournament as well as be a top scorer in the league. I believe that if we put our mind on it and work hard for it, then everything is achievable”. he added. Mr. Tandin Dorji, the team captain of B.Ed 4th Year Sci B shared, “Winning the B.Ed Rolling Trophy Tournament after waiting for so many years is such a happiness to every one of us. I saw the real talent of my teammates and it was indeed a beautiful match.” Mr. Prakash Sanyasi, the team captain of PgDE- B also shared that the match was both exciting and challenging. He further shared that his team lost the match because of one day luck because in the opening match played in the league round they defeated the same class.
