In light of this, Dasho Dzongrab of Samtse said, “Following the government order, Samtse Dzongkhag wanted to relax the lockdown. For this, the printing of movement cards to be distributed to the local community for their movement within their zones is essential”. Dasho also shared, “We are thankful to the College administration for helping the Dzongkhag in human resources and printing facilities within a short notice and this is an opportunity of collaboration between Dzongkhag and the College to fight against COVID-19”. Mr. Sonam Wangchuk, Dzongkhag COVID-19 Committee member who is tasked for zonation and printing cards shared, “In a lockdown situation, it is very difficult to get lamination paper including colour printing machine. And luckily, the Dzongkhag could avail these facilities from the College. This is a wonderful assistance”.

Mr. Narayan Rasaily, IT Associate of the College also stated that “This a small contribution to the country and I am genuinely happy to help in printing and laminating cards”.  The College Administrative Officer who was entrusted to deliver essential commodities to the households in the College campus shared his experience, “Printing of cards is a good initiative from the Dzongkhag because this will help people to buy their groceries of choice. Otherwise, catering to every individual demands is difficult”. He also said that he is happy because the College could help the country at this difficult time.
