In the morning today (Saturday 4th July 2020), the teaching faculty of the College attended a half day in-house professional development training on conducting online examination. The training was organised as a preparation to conduct online examination for the rest of the students who will be writing their Spring 2020 Semester end examination online via the virtual learning environment (VLE). The PD was hands-on and experiential that provided knowledge and skills of setting online exam papers, securing and uploading semester end examination on VLE.

The training was facilitated by Mr. Tandin Penjor, Mr. Ransingh Tamang and Mr. Damche Dorji of the College. The President of the College shared his concerns and worries of the possible power and network fluctuations that might cause disruptions to the administration of online examination but stated that this concerns will be flagged as an agenda in the next University executive meeting for advice and direction.

This half-day training marked the first professional development programme in the College for academic staff for 2020-2021 fiscal year.
