Welcome Spring, welcome new semester
# 15th February. With hopes and aspirations the IIIrd yr and IInd yr primary student-teachers along with the Ist years reported afresh after a lavishing break of almost two months. The welcome to college sets another semester amidst the web pages and various encyclopedias. “The break has refreshed my exhausted brain and revived me thoroughly,” said Sukmith Lepcha (IIIrd S S ‘B’). The college welcomed 131 Ist year and 59 PGDE student-teachers and two lecturers; Chenga Dorji (lecturer in ICT) and Wangchuk Dorji, lecturer in Counseling. Dr.R.K. Mahapatra has also joined the college to help commerce student on a part time basis. With the revival of education system unlike last year where student-teachers were sent to various schools for apprenticeship, the college also saw 149 four year student-teachers joining the family. SCoE would like to express the heartfelt joys and wish all of them good luck. SCoE also bid farewell to the previous IIIrd year passed out trainees and three lecturers; Sangay Jamtsho, Tshering Deki & Namgay. The college thanks them for their selfless dedication and contributions. Finally, we wish everyone a very sizzling Earth Ox Year.
