Aims and Objectives:
The Rig-Gter - Academic Journal of College of Education Samtse (AJOCES), which literally means 'treasure house of knowledge' was launched in 2006 by the then National Institute of Education, Samtse (NIE), to provide a platform and encourage the faculty and student teachers of SCE to embark on scholarly and research activities.
It is evident that knowledge becomes redundant and facts and information learnt today becomes irrelevant tomorrow. So it is imperative that as educators and nation builders we need to continually search for latest knowledge through research and writing and remain trustworthy professionals (Kalyzang Tshering, Director, SCE in his foreward message, Rig-Gter, 2006, vol-1).
