Position : Lecturer

Mr. Sonam Dorji W. joined Samtse College of Education in 2004 where he teaches Regional, European, World, Ancient Civilization and Bhutan history.

He is a graduate of North Eastern Hill University, Meghalaya. In 2007 he was awarded his Master degree in Social Sciences by the University of Newcastle, Australia.

He has written history modules for the B.Ed and PgDE programme, which were successfully validated bythe Royal University of Bhutan. He has research and teaching interest in Cultural and Political History of Bhutan, Historiography, teaching and learning of History in Bhutanese schools.

Qualification:

• Post Graduate Certificate in Education
• Master of Social Science.
