Position : Sr.Lecturer

After teaching at Sarbhang High School, Mr. Raika worked with tutors from the University of Leeds, UK at Teacher Training Centre and Demonstration School, Paro.

He joined the college in July 1991. Apart from teaching mathematics and assessment, he has been coordinating various activities including assessment, BEd Primary course, and mathematics department of the college.

He has actively participated in the development of curriculum in the areas of his interest. He has also contributed his expertise in the field of continuous assessment to the country.

In addition to teaching mathematics and assessment he is currently serving as the Secretary to the Board of Examiners, and is a member of College Academic Committee, College Research Committee, Teaching Practice Committee. He is also coordinating the work to start MEd (Curriculum & Instruction) at the college.

Qualification:

• B.Ed. (Samtse),

• Adv. Dip. in Educational Studies (Leeds, UK),

• M.Ed. (Newcastle, Australia).
