Inauguration of the IT

The Vice Chancellor of The Royal University of Bhutan and the Assistant Director General of Helvatas visited Samtse College of Education on 4th September to inaugurate the new IT and library building.
The construction funded by Swiss government was contracted to a Bhutanese contractor. The building is still under construction, but the construction is already 5 months behind schedule. At the function the guests were welcomed with marching ceremony and then inspection of the construction works. Further the guests were entertained with a cultural show by College cultural club and college hosted a lunch.
The building after its completion shall be used to further expand the existing library and the IT laboratory to provide more opportunities to the college.
