Research Committee

PREAMBLE
Evolving a culture of standard research is a slow and difficult process, but once it happens through conscious effort, credibility would come by itself. Research is a crucial element of any college/institutes and without the active involvement of its faculty and students it will difficult to sustain the academic and professional knowledge of the faculty and students.
By involving in research activities new knowledge and skills can be generated and existing ones can be updated. We can bring a shift in the paradigm from teacher fueled learning to students taking up independent research and book based learning to students creating their own meaning.
So it was imperative for the Samtse College of Education (SCE) to form a research committee. The College Research Committee (CRC) was formally instituted in 2004 with the College Director as chairman. Since then the CRC is deeply committed in promoting research activities and at the same time ensuring standards in all our research products bearing the logo of the College and is meant for public consumption.
